Word Clarity Family Christian Ministries has made it possible to put every skill for God's good pleasure and purpose. Teaching music has been
Pastor D. lifetime passion. Its what I love to do. Teaching is my God given and born gift. All the skills accumulated are the fruit of persistence, patience, and hard studying.
For many years, Pastor D. has been offered a vast array of prestigious opportunities to prosper in the national music business as a Gospel solo artist. Thrilling as those opportunities seemed, they did not bring Pastor D. the same level of fulfillment as teaching music as a private instructor. Teaching music embodies everything in his character. Pastor D. is widely known for “explaining & analyzing. He knows without a shadow of doubt that teaching music is an extension of his calling as a Pastor. Musicians all over Georgia and the USA have blossomed as a result of taking musical training from Pastor D. Training musicians to fill the void in the Church drives all his efforts and commitments to share his many God given gifts. 2 Peter 1:10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: Yes, as a multi-talented man-of-God, for many years, I've instantly turned down every offer to do something else. What have you turned down to do God's will? It has already been settled. Teaching is my passion!. People who refuse to accept my description of my God given calling to teach, often don't know or walk fully in their own calling. Most people main interest is just to have admired talent, fame, and fortune rather than pursue a God given mission. God does commission his servants to do all the Good" they can, rather we are called to pursue all the "Right" we can. Having this world fame & wealthy does not define a person value before God. Neither does it confirmed that you have accomplish God's will for your life. Greatness before God is measured by the sincere quality of service given to others for God's glory. Serving others through my many skills has been my life-long concept in retaining my focus as an instructor. Matthew 20:26 But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; 27 And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: 28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. To some people, I'm supposedly missing something by choosing to remain with private teaching. Maybe I'm missing fame and fortune. Sorry, it does not work that way we your life is directed by God's predetermined will. The Pastor D. Student Showcase 2003 is my absolute opportunity to see the fruit of my labors. Every student participant represents my fame, fortune, and mission accomplish. Teachers have no meaning or value without students. Having students makes the teacher's role one of the most important occupation in the world. Everything in life has been learned and understood through some form of teaching. Parenting, medical fields, science, technology, etc. have progressively develop through teaching.
Hopefully, this biography will clarify the meaning of my life as a servant of God, Pastor, and music educator. If at the conclusion of my life, I have not wealth, fame, or fortune; having given my all and see all my students blossom will have made the labor worth it. My life has been truly one of Purpose Wealth! Through it all, God's grace, mercy and favor has kept me focus on the mission for my life. Be R--E--A--L Encouraged! Most people say that being in Pastor D.'s company is like being in class all the time! Honestly, it is the absolute truth! Music instructor Producer, composer, and graphic artist of 2U Productions Has produced several CDs on the national music market Teaches and create graphic designs (Flyers, cards, brochures, forms, booklets, etc.)Teaches computer lessons and build web sites Creates Bible study literature and booklets Pastor D. focus more attention on teaching Piano, guitar, bass, and voice. These four instruments are traditionally the most used in the Church. Pianist, by far are more in demand than any other instrument. |
