Habitually renders their services only when an offering is offered!!
A salary junkie and only motivated by MONEY & more MONEY!
An ego addict that is enslaved to having control and dominating other musicians.
Loves the spotlight but Intimidated by other skilled musicians!
Moon-lighting between churches while refusing to submit tospiritual authority, Bible study, Sunday school, etc.!Homosexual life-style, yet, often un-approached by the Churches & leaders for deliverance, freedom, and salvation!Consumed only with salary-related invitations because being motivated by prestige, money, and recognition!Unfamiliar with playing the current music of today’s church! Many musicians, although doing the best they can, barely keep pace with the ever changing variety of music used by the modern-day church. Need more training!
Teaching choirs songs from radio’s “Top 40” list takes a great deal of time, labor, and skill and is more than most inexperience musicians can manage effectively. Learning such an expanding repertoire of songs places an overwhelming responsibility on untrained musicians. Yet, we do thank God for those who do the best they can. Those that labor sincerely should be honored highly and considered for their faithful service. Each one is a jewel to God and should be regarded likewise by the Church. Training fresh new students is the only lasting solution. We must raise and train up new musicians if we are to keep the music ministry growing effectively.Pastors, save yourself from the nagging stress of having fall-outs with “hiring & firing” unfaithful musicians.
Eventually, greater peace will be yours if you focus more on encouraging members of your congregation who show potential in music to take training. Stop wasting Church finances on uncommitted musicians. Although it may take a while to get the ideal musicians, nevertheless, in due time, harvest time will surely come.As a Pastor, I’m excited about sharing the many “gifts” God has given me. They are all used for teaching, teaching, and more teaching! At times, I’m available for church or organization visits for training, workshops, or offer suggestions. Perhaps, we could work together to create meaningful and practical ways to enhance your music ministry. Possibly, we can set up a one or two night music workshop (instructive related) to motivate your music ministry, musicians and choirs. I do understood that every church has its own unique taste in musical emphasis. With God’s leading, we can find and create ways to upgrade the quality of your music ministry. We must start from where we are and build from there.

Most certainly, music plays a vital role in the church. It is a integral part of our spiritual inspiration, praise and worship to God. Well trained musicians are getting fewer and fewer. Presently, there is not enough musicians to provide music in many Churches. For various reasons, most highly skilled musicians in the church refuse to pass their musical skills through sharing what they know so others may learn and contribute to the music ministry.
