Can Good Come Out of Tragedy?

Romans 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Romans 8:37
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

May these words of hope and encouragement encourage you in your tragic moments,

]Like everyone, you probably have wondered within your heart and long to understand the meaning of “why things happen in your life.” It seems that we go unpunished after doing wrong only to suffer after having done what was right. It is an often unexplainable paradox. Fortunately, God’s Word assures believers that nothing just happens. Whether good or bad, God pre assigns a purpose and likeable result for why he allows things to happen and others not to happen.

Life is filled with good & bad, peace & war, comfort & pain, ups & downs. We are blessed with choices to apply ourselves to what matters most to us personally. Those choices, in many ways, result into the color of our lives. Then there are hurts and disappointments that seem to come out of know where. Without warning, life throws a curve leaving us bewildered, gasping for relief, longing for comfort, and wondering why me.

My deal brothers and sisters your recent tragedy offers you a choice of responses. Either it can be regarded as just another coincident or either it can compel you to redo your life by turning to God. To overlook the presence of God is to conclude that evil disturbing your life has no meaning or significance. In other words, you just got a “bad rap” in life. Yet, those serving God can always have the assurance that… “all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28).”

Moving up in age gradually decrease opportunities to maximize your purpose and mission in life. Youth-hood pleasures and pursuits must be put aside and replace with more meaningful and serious aspirations in life. Aging and health problems await everyone that lives a long life. When God chose to spare your life in the midst of a tragic incident, it is because you have not completed your mission in life. There is something else to do and accomplish that you have not completed. God has no need for “living beings” without there been a purpose. An incident such as the one you have experienced shows that life is fragile and all extremely brief. For this reason, it is far safer to have the assurance and confidence that God is always in charge of regulating the events of your life when we walk with him.

Too often we pray and ask God for health and strength only to untie our prayers with abusing our bodies (God temple). God gives us His grace and mercy to maximize our life and extend life to the fullest. Satan use sin to accelerate the pains and agitations of life. How much time do you have left in this life? Of course, you don’t know! Will a serious injury turn into a terminal illness? No one knows! When others invite you to turn to God, will it ever become a reality?

Only God knows! Will your parents get to experience the last and greatest joy of seeing you walking with the Lord? Maybe or maybe not, you still have a choice. Time is running out to taste the remainder of your choice.

  • Who dares to pray to God for healing and comfort and not know him spiritually?
  • Who dares to hope for healing and not have a healer?
  • Who dares to expect good to happen in life without turning to the source of all good (God)?

It is those persons who know they are lost, but doing nothing about it. You must make a decision today that you will not be defeated by tragedy but reverse its effect in your life by submitting your life to Christ. Every event you have experience is an invitation to Christ and a challenge to fulfill your purpose.

What a time you have such as now to talk and commune with God. Pour your heart out to the Lord and invite Him to come in and place everything in order for His glory and pleasure. To God’s glory, let this life interruption compel you to make a major change, and never look back accept to give God praise for how He brought you out, through, and up.

There is yet another side of your personality to be born and screaming to be release so that God purge for His use and glory. Most certainly, you have been spared BY God’s grace. Why not go for the whole thing. Many voices are praying and crying out to God for your recovery and second chance to connect with God. It is when your heart soften towards God that He gently steps in and beautify your life.

Be encouraged and of good cheer! I pray that these few heart prepared words will inspire you to reach up and embrace all that God will is for you to have. Sa the Gospel artist The Winans said in a song: “Millions didn’t make it, but I was one of the ones who did.” Is that you? We all hope so!
